We have sourced the best modern strains of iris from the United States and the Netherlands. Some of these are difficult to find, but have been grown and assessed to thrive and bloom reliably in the UK climate. Many are available exclusively here from Arden Irises.
The aim of Arden Irises is to supply median irises that can withstand our changing climate and the winds that can sometimes damage the taller varieties. Our median varieties include Standard Dwarf Bearded, Intermediate Bearded, Border Bearded, and the Miniature Tall Bearded Irises, we are also breeding smaller flowered Tall Bearded Iris.
